Km. 0. Sortida d’Esterri d’Àneu (950 m) del C/ Hug Roger direcció als xalets.
Km. 0,3. Seguir per carrer asfaltat.
Km. 0,8. Àrea recreativa dels Pradets, seguir per la pista cap a la dreta.
Km. 1,2. Deixar la pista i agafar a la dreta el camí a peu direcció Son. Tram no ciclable (10 minuts)
Km. 1,5. Seguir la pista de terra cap a la dreta direcció València d’Àneu.
Km. 2,3. València d’Àneu. Seguir fins la carretera C-28 i continuar direcció a la Bonaigua (opcional agafar el camí vell).
Km. 3,7. Cruïlla a l’esquerra direcció Son per pista asfaltada.
Km. 7,1. Son. Seguir per la carretera direcció Jou.
Km. 7,5. Passat el riu, prendre pista forestal a la dreta.
Km. 9,7. Continuar per la pista principal que creua el riu.
Km. 10,3. Les planes de Son. Seguir per la pista forestal, un tram empedrat.
Km. 14,5. Cruïlla. Continuar recte per la pista principal
Km. 18,8. Cruïlla Bosc Esterri. Girar cap a la dreta.
Km. 20,1. Refugi Pla de la Font. Inici del descens per pista forestal, primer per la mateixa pista de pujada.
Km. 21,1. Cruïlla. Continuem recte per la pista principal.
Km. 28,3. Cruïlla carretera Jou-Son. Girar cap a l’esquerra direcció Son.
Km. 30,6. Cruïlla. Agafar camí de terra a la dreta.
Km. 30,9. Continuar recte. Comença tram amb rampes fortes i trialeres. Precaució.
Km. 33,3. Pista forestal dels Marxets.
Km. 33,9. Camí del riu de Son.
Km. 34,34. Esterri d’Àneu.
